SERVICE PROCEDURE
Remove or Disconnect
1.
Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Bracket. Refer to Section 6A8-13.
2.
Heater coolant bypass inlet pipe assembly from tensioner bracket.
3.
Two O-rings from pipe assembly. Discard old O-rings.
Install or Connect
1. Dip new O-rings in clean engine coolant to aid in installation.
2. New service purple O-ring to end of pipe that attaches to the lower intake manifold.
3. New production orange O-ring to end of pipe that attaches to tensioner bracket.
4. Heater coolant bypass inlet pipe assembly to tensioner bracket.
5. Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Bracket. Refer to Section 6A8-13.
