CONDITION
A new control assembly has been developed to correct the blower coming on too soon in 20 to 60 degree Fahrenheit (-7 to 15c) ambient temperatures.
This change was incorporated in the 1990 vehicles in production after October 1, 1989.
The new control assembly can be used on 1989 vehicles and will incorporate the following features into the 1989 models, in addition to the change in
blower operation.
1 .
Outside temperature, when selected, will remain displayed after ignition cycle.
2.
Defrost mode may be selected from the steering wheel controls.
3.
The system will not switch from a manually selected mode to "auto" mode with ignition cycle.
