Impact Sensor: Service and Repair
Forward Sensors

1.

Deactivate airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG DEACTIVATION.

2.

Remove grille attaching screws, then the grille.

3.

Remove CPA and sensor connector from left fender in engine compartment.

4.

Remove fasteners securing forward sensor to bracket.

5.

Remove sensor.

6.

Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque fasteners to 62 inch lbs.
b. Following installation, activate airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ACTIVATION.
