Simulates coolant temperature switch closing to complete ground to relay. If high speed fan comes "ON", fault is in coolant temperature switch
wire.
2.
Checks for battery voltage at relay connector terminals "G and C". With the key "ON", both terminals should be battery voltage.

By jumping the relay connector terminals in this step, the contact points in the relay are bypassed. If high speed fan comes "ON", fault is in relay
connector or relay. If high speed fan comes "ON", fault is in relay connector or relay. If no high speed fan, fault is in motor wiring.
