Carefully peel back seal from heater evaporator module (see Figure 1) to expose rivets for "flag" baffle (see Figure 2). Be careful not to tear seal.

Center punch two rivets and drill out with 7/16" drill. Remove "flag" baffle.

Cut 1-1/4" square piece off bottom of baffle (see Figure 2).

Cut off bottom 1/4" of temperature door internal perpendicular lip (see Figure 3). Cut off only from side exposed.
9.
Reinstall revised "flag" baffle and securely pop rivet in place.
10.
Put seal back in place, reassemble duct work and instrument panel, and connect battery.
