A condition may be experienced on some early 1985 Ninety-Eight models involving a left to right side heater output imbalance. This can result in the
driver's left foot feeling cold.
The condition can be repaired by the following service procedure:
1.
Disconnect battery negative cable.
2.
Remove lower instrument panel close out panels and heater duct.
3.
Remove instrument panel cover, speedometer cluster, instrument panel trim and parts necessary to remove distribution duct assembly..
4.
Remove air distribution duct assembly.
