When the vehicle is being made ready for delivery, the lock brackets are to be installed prior to installation of the wire wheel cover and medallions.

Remove three (3) lug nuts from each wheel for lock bracket installation. Refer to Figure 1 for all models except Ninety-Eight.

NOTE:
1985 Ninety-Eight front wheel covers are retained by the drive axles; therefore, they do not require lock brackets. Refer to Figure 2.

Place lock bracket on lug nut studs.
3.
Install three (3) special lug nuts on each wheel to retain lock bracket and torque to specifications. LOOSE CONDITION OF LOCK BRACKET
WILL BE NORMAL. WHEN LUG NUTS ARE SEATED, FRONT WHEEL STUDS WILL HAVE A RECESSED APPEARANCE, WHICH IS
NORMAL.
