Before performing any diagnosis of the system to determine the cause of these conditions, the following two items should be checked: A) Wiper fuse is
not blown; and, B) That the wiper motor ground strap is secure and that the ground strap has continuity to the body ground.
NOTICE:
When the diagnostic procedure requires wiper motor operation, the windshield and wiper blades must be cleaned to avoid damaging glass.
