Diesel MFI Pump: Service and Repair
End Plate Access Plug or Stop Plug Washer, Replace
1.
Remove air cleaner and install cover J-26996-1 or equivalent.
2.
Clean any dirt from area.
3.
Remove stop plug and/or end plate plug and discard washers.
4.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque stop plug to 80 inch lbs. and end plate to 43 ft. lbs.
