INSTALL

1. Install Rack & Pinion gear assembly into mounts on crossmember.
2. Install mount bolts and torque to specification.
3. Install heat shield if removed.
4. Raise cradle and install cradle mount bolts. Torque bolts to 105 Nm ( 75 Ft. Lbs. ).
5. Install Air Management pipe bracket on crossmember.
6. Install tie rod ends to steering knuckles. Torque bell stud nuts to specifications and install cotter pins.
7. lnstall wheel and tire assemblies.
8. Remove jack stands and lower car.
9. Connect power steering pipes to gear and torque to 27 Nm ( 20 Ft. Lbs. ).

10. Line up intermediate shaft to stub shaft and connect. Install pinch bolt and torque to specification.
11. Install air cleaner assembly.
12. Add power steering fluid to reservoir then start engine and allow to idle about 10 seconds. Stop engine.
13. Check power steering fluid level and add as necessary.
14. Check and adjust toe as necessary.
