1. Remove outer joint boot. Refer to Constant Velocity Joint Boot / Service and Repair. See: Constant Velocity Joint Boot/Service and Repair
2. Use a brass drift and hammer to gently tap on CV joint cage until cage is tilted enough to remove first ball, then tilt cage in opposite direction to
remove opposing ball. Remove remaining balls in same manner.
