Steering Gear: Adjustments

1. With front wheels raised and steering wheel centered, loosen adjuster plug lock nut.
2. Turn adjuster plug clockwise until it bottoms in housing, then back off 50-70 deg.
3. Check steering wheel return to center after adjustment.
4. Hold adjusting plug stationary and tighten locknut to specifications.
