Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the sliding door garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Sliding Door  (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim

Panel/Service and Repair/Garnish Molding Replacement - Sliding Door) in Interior Trim.

2. Remove the sliding door inside handle. Refer to Inside Handle Replacement - Sliding Door  (See: Sliding Door Handle/Service and

Repair/Outside Handle Replacement - Sliding Door) .

3. Use the J 38778  .

4. Remove the sliding door inner trim panel from the sliding door.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the sliding door inner trim panel to the sliding door.
2. Align the locating pins on the sliding door inner trim panel to the sliding door.
3. Firmly press the sliding door inner trim panel with the retainers to the sliding door to the seat retainers.
4. Install the sliding door inside handle. Refer to Inside Handle Replacement - Sliding Door  (See: Sliding Door Handle/Service and Repair/Outside

Handle Replacement - Sliding Door) .

5. Install the sliding door garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Sliding Door  (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim

Panel/Service and Repair/Garnish Molding Replacement - Sliding Door) in Interior Trim.
