Seat Back Recliner Replacement - Rear (AL4, AT5, AM9)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear  (See: Service and Repair/Seat Replacement - Rear) .
2. Remove the recliner covers. Refer to Seat Back Recliner Cover Replacement - Rear  (See: Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Seat Back Recliner

3. Remove the recliner bolts from the seat cushion.
4. Remove the back panel from the rear of the seat.
5. Remove the seat back cover and pad away in order to expose the recliner bolts.

6. Remove the recliner bolts from the seat back.
7. Remove the recliner from the seat.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the recliner to the seat back.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the recliner to the seat back bolts.

Tighten the recliner bolts to 32 N.m (24 lb ft).
