3. Install the recliner to the seat cushion bolts.

Tighten the recliner bolts to 32 N.m (24 lb ft).

4. Install the back panel to the rear of the seat.
5. Install the recliner covers. Refer to Seat Back Recliner Cover Replacement - Rear  (See: Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Seat Back Recliner Cover

Replacement - Rear) .

6. Install the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear  (See: Service and Repair/Seat Replacement - Rear) .

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear  (See: Service and Repair/Seat Replacement - Rear) .

2. Remove the seat back frame (1). Refer to Seat Back Frame Replacement - Rear (AQ4 Captains Chair)  (See: Seat Back Frame Replacement - Rear

Important:  The recliner mechanism is an integral part of the seat back frame. Replace the entire seat back frame if the recliner
mechanism requires replacement.

3. Remove the recliner mechanism (2) and the seat back frame assembly (1).
