RPO Code C60 (HVAC Front Manual Controls)

HEATER HOSE REPLACEMENT - OUTLET (WITH RPO CODE C60)

TOOLS REQUIRED

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Drain the cooling system. 
2. Remove the left wiper arm linkage nuts.

Reposition the left wiper arm linkage for access.

3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the brake booster and reposition.
4. Remove the air cleaner cover and intake tube.
5. Disconnect the throttle and cruise control cables from the TBI mounting bracket.

IMPORTANT:Disconnect the throttle and cruise control cables to prevent bending the cable housings.

6. Remove the transmission fluid filler tube. 

7. Disconnect the outlet heater hose (3) from the outlet pipe (4).

Disconnect the outlet heater hose (3) from the outlet pipe (4).

8. Reposition the heater hose clamp using the J 38185.
9. Disconnect the outlet heater hose from the heater core.

10. Remove the outlet heater hose.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the outlet heater hose.
