 Install friction washer, seal, lever and nut on parking brake shaft as shown in Fig. 8, then torque nut to 30---40 ft. lbs. while holding lever.

 Rotate parking brake lever back against stop on caliper, then install spring, cable and retainer.

7.

 Tighten parking brake cable at equalizer until lever begins to move off stop, then loosen cable until lever returns to stop.

8.

 Bleed brakes as needed.
