Solar Sensor: Service and Repair

TORONADO

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove L.H. sound insulator and sound insulator courtesy lamp.

3.

Remove R.H. sound insulator and sound insulator courtesy lamp.

4.

Remove steering column opening filler panel, then the four steering column mounting bolts.

5.

Lower steering column, then remove deflector housings.

6.

Remove windshield defroster nozzle grille, then the five screws found under deflector housing and windshield defroster nozzle grille.

7.

Remove two bottom IP. attaching bolts, then disconnect bulkhead electrical connector.

8.

Move IP. rearward, then remove aspirator hose and fuse panel.

9.

Disconnect fuel filler door release and rear compartment lid release electrical connectors.

10.

Disconnect antenna lead, then remove IP. from vehicle.

11.

Remove sunload sensor electrical connector, then the sunload sensor.

12.

Reverse procedure to install.
