Service (split ring) Seal Kit Part Number 26010340 is now available and can be installed on all vehicles equipped with power rack and pinion steering
gears with aluminum valve housings. The service seal kit replaces the previous solid rings.
The special split rings are designed to expand into the seal wear grooves which may exist in the rack and pinion housing and seat against the bottom of
the grooves. This will ensure power steering assist when cold.
