Oil Pan: Service and Repair

TORONADO

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Raise and support vehicle, then remove three final drive to transmission bolts.

3.

Disconnect frame braces, then disconnect idler arm and pitman arm from relay rod.

4.

Separate drive axles from output shafts.

5.

Remove battery cable bracket from output shaft support.

6.

Disconnect output shaft support from engine block.

7.

Support transmission with suitable jack, then remove final drive assembly.

8.

Remove splash shield and starter motor.

9.

Drain engine oil and remove oil pan.

10.

Reverse procedure to install.
