Re-attach the cooler line to the support brackets

Install the 500 mm long flexible low pressure hose (P/N 0040.G0) and clamps (P/N 6981.36); route the hose over the cooler line and around
the rubber bushing; push the hose on the cooler line as far as it will go (up to bushing support bracket); tighten clamps

Remove original P/S high pressure hose

-

Remove spark plug cover plate

-

Remove center and distributor side "C" clips and screws from spark plug cover plate

-

Install support bracket (P/N 4018.70) on spark plug cover plate using new longer screws (P/N 6912.86) and original "C" clips

NOTE: 
The "T" section of the support bracket must face the timing belt side of the engine

Install new H/P hose, making sure that the new "O" ring is still present on the fitting attaching to the P/S pump; route the section of hose
going down to the pinion valve on the outside of the heater hoses; the side attaching to the pump is to be routed on the inside of the heater
hoses

Insert the tabs on the single and double clamp brackets (P/N's 4018.71 and 6995.37) into the HIP hose support (P/N 4018.70); secure clamps
using 6x100 mm retaining nuts (P/N 6935.08)

Tie strap H/P hose at (1) to obtain clearance between spark plug wire cap and hose; if necessary move the metallic pipe of the hose back to
obtain this clearance

Refill power steering reservoir

-

Ensure that the vehicle is equipped witb the "Gates" P/S belt (P/N 4009.31), and that it is adjusted to a tension of 5.75 daN-m (42 ft.lbs.), as
indicated in S.B. No. 336, Class 7.
