Idle Speed: Adjustments
Preliminary Conditions

1.

The engine must be hot (fan engagement).

2.

Ignition system correctly adjusted and in good condition.

3.

Air filter clean and in place.

4.

Throttle flap initial opening correctly adjusted.

5.

Ensure transmission is in park (neutral for manual transmission).

6.

Set parking brake.

7.

Turn off all electrical accessories (air conditioning, headlights, rear defogger, etc.).
