DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT
Upper rear part of rear door panels not properly secured to door pinchweld.
PART REQUIRED
2 clips part number: 6992.59 (one per panel)
SERVICE FIX
Carefully pull rear part of door Panel away from Pinchweld and insert the new clip 140 mm (7-1/2") from rear edge of quarter window pillar as shown
below. NOTE:: On station wagons measure 120 mm (4-3/4") from quarter window pillar. The widest part of the clip must be installed on door pinchweld
and the open end of the clip must face window glass.
Reinstall upper part of door panel by placing yourself on outside of door in order to lift the door panel so that the U-shaped bracket can be fitted onto the
new clip. Press down along the upper edge of door panel to ensure that it is securely fastened. Repeat above procedure on opposite side panel.
