ASSEMBLY
1.
Move pump piston to the TDC position.
2.
Position new diaphragm with retaining washers into pump body, Fig. 3. Install small washer on top and large washer on bottom of diaphragm
with flat surface of each contacting diaphragm.
3.
Apply suitable locking compound to diaphragm screw, then install screw with copper washer. Torque bolt to 6.5 ft. lbs. (8.8 Nm).
4.
Install diaphragm cover and reconnect vacuum lines.
5.
Install seals, valves and springs into diaphragm cover.
6.
Install pump upper cover, using a new gasket, and secure with attaching screws.
7.
Check pump oil level as previously described.
