Loosen the exhaust center pipe clamps at the catalytic converter and the rear muffler.

Loosen the exhaust center pipe bracket at E.
5.
Align the exhaust center pipe so that the clearance is split 1/3 at C, 2/3 at D. This will allow for the difference in engine torque under acceleration
versus engine "braking".
6.
Bend and align the heat shield as necessary to obtain sufficient clearance.
7.
Retighten all clamps and ROAD TEST TO VERIFY THE CORRECTNESS OF THIS REPAIR.
