Hook up an ohmeter between pin 12 and pin 13 of the ignition E.C.U. (H96) connector. The resistance should be between 270 and 330 K.ohms.

If this value is not reached after checking the continuity and insulation of wires 8 and M58 replace the detonation sensor.

Installation precautions
The opening (1) for the LED holder (2) in the instrument cluster, has 2 different size cut-outs. When reinstalling the LED holder, insert the resistor (3)
through the wider cut-out.
