SUBJECT:

SLIGHT MISFIRE CONDITION WHEN ACCELERATING

MODELS:

1980 TO 1987 505 XN6 FUEL INJECTION SEDANS AND STATION WAGONS

COMPLAINT:

A slight misfire condition when accelerating strongly in lower gears on high mileage vehicles may be due to fatigue breakage of the "L" shaped bracket
located between the two-piece intake manifold.
PART REQUIRED:

Part Number 0016.03

NOTE:

Part not shown on 505 microfiche

RECOMMENDED REPAIR:

Install a new "L" shaped bracket, P/N 0016.03.
