Position the intermediate shaft (Reference (b)):

the distributor rotor finger must be perpendicular to the engine's axis.
If this is not the case, turn the intermediate shaft once or twice.

Position the camshaft at approximately 450 (Rectangular cutout (c) as shown.

Installing the belt:
^
Starting with the crankshaft pinion, line up the belt references with the timing marks on the sprockets, the arrows (d) on the outside of the belt
indicate the direction of engine rotation.

Center the belt on the sprockets and on the tensioner.
