Air/Fuel Mixture: Adjustments
Idle Mixture Adjustment

1.

Allow engine to reach normal operating temperature.

2.

Check ignition timing for proper adjustment.

3.

Remove air flow sensor.

4.

Remove tamper resistant plug by using a suitable drill bit. Make a small hole in the plug, then remove plug using a suitable tool.

5.

To richen the mixture, turn screw in one full turn. To lean out the mixture, back out screw one full turn.

6.

Install a new tamper resistant plug on air flow unit.
