COMPLAINT
Main fuel pump becomes extremely noisy when ambient temperature is above 75~ to 80~ F. This problem has been traced to a slight restriction of the
fuel supply hose under the trunk floor panel (hose from fuel tank to main fuel pump).
REPAIR
In order to prevent such restriction, the supply hose should be routed under the return hose at the securing bracket mounted to the vertical panel
extending from the trunk floor panel.
Additionally, when performing the installation of the gravity feed fuel tank, make sure that both supply and return hoses are shortened as per instructions
in Service Bulletin 236.
