REPAIR OPERATIONS ON STEERING TIE-RODS AND/OR SUSPENSION STRUTS
During repair operations necessitating the removal of a steering tie-rod or suspension strut using a ball joint extractor, take care not to damage the rubber
protector. During re-assembly, ensure that the ball joint rubber protector is in good condition (no cuts) and that it is correctly positioned on the ball joint
stem.
