Measuring Air Gap

3. Using a suitable puller, remove the clutch front plate from the assembly. When installing the front plate, select the proper shims to achieve a 

0.9mm (0.035 in.) air gap to the pulley surface. To install front plate, align shaft key to groove in front plate hub and push on until it seats,
measure the air gap.

4. Remove clutch pulley retaining snap ring and pull the pulley from the assembly.
5. Remove the clutch coil wire lead strap screw.
