Accelerator Pedal Assembly

REMOVAL

1.

Inside vehicle hold up the gas pedal and remove the throttle cable retainer and throttle cable from the upper end of the pedal shaft.  The throttle
lever must be rotated towards wide open throttle to allow enough cable slack to permit removal.

2.

From the engine compartment pull the throttle cable out through the dash, leaving the dash grommet in place.

Remove the throttle cable from the throttle lever, then remove cable from throttle bracket.

INSTALLATION

1.

Install the cable housing into the cable mounting bracket on the engine.  Install cable end into second groove of the throttle cam. Push cable
through dash grommet and reconnect to accelerator pedal.
