Turn Signal Switch: Testing and Inspection
Multi-Function Switch
1. Remove multi-function switch.
Multi-Function Switch Continuity Test
2. Using an ohmmeter, test for continuity (no resistance) between the terminals of the switch as shown in the following continuity charts.
The switch assembly is mounted center of the steering column. Should any function of the switch fail, the entire switch assembly must be replaced.
