Recall 00V066000: Incorrect Child Lock Instruction Label
The affected vehicles were built with incorrect child lock instruction labels.
The incorrect labels could cause confusion as to whether the child proof safety lock was activated.
Owners will be provided with correct labels. Owner notification began March 27, 2000. Owners who do not receive the correct labels within a
reasonable time should contact DaimlerChrysler at 1-800-992-1997. Also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Auto Safety
Hotline at 1-888-DASH-2-DOT (1-888-327-4236).
