Intake Air Temperature Sensor: Description and Operation
The Intake Air Temperature Sensor is located on the Air Flow Sensor. The resistor-based sensor measures the temperature of the incoming air and
supplies air density information to the Control Unit in the form of an electrical voltage signal. The Control Unit uses this signal, along with other signal
inputs, to control the fuel injector pulse width, ignition timing and the purging of the charcoal canister.
