SYMPTOM/CONDITION
Subject model vehicle may exhibit a cold sag and/or a cold hesitation immediately after shifting gears. The condition will be most noticeable with a cold
engine, in cold ambients, during wide open throttle acceleration.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
This repair consists of installing a modulator on top of the ECI unit.
1.
Remove the black plastic ECI cover from under the heater housing.
2.
Remove the ECI unit and its mounting bracket as an assembly by removing the bracket from the heater housing.
3.
Disconnect the wiring harness from the ECI unit and the ground wire from the mounting bracket.
4.
Attach wiring harness, PN MD102149, to both the ECI and the modulator, PN MD102148.
