SYMPTOM/CONDITION
A condition may exist on subject model vehicles of liquid fuel entering the vapor canister due to overfilling of fuel tank.
The procedure outlined below will reduce the probability of liquid fuel entering the canister should the owner inadvertently overfill the fuel tank.
NOTE:
THE FUEL TANK WILL BE AT ITS DESIGNED FULL LEVEL AT THE SECOND AUTOMATIC SHUTOFF OF THE
REFUELING NOZZLE.
An overfull condition will occur if the fuel tank is filled (nursed full) past its designed full level.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1.
Disconnect the fuel tank vent-to-vapor canister hose at the steel chassis line next to the right shock tower. Leave the hose in the harness.
