Be certain curb idle speed is set to emissions label specifications. Adjust if necessary. (Idle set screw location - Figure 2.)

Turn air conditioning on:

Set air selector lever to "inside" position.
^
Set blower motor speed on "low".
^
Push in A/C button.

Using the throttle opener adjusting screw (Figure 2), adjust idle speed to 850 + or - 50 rpm.

Air compressor must be cycled "on".
^
Radiator fan "off" (disconnect if necessary).

If air compressor cycles too fast, use highest blower motor setting and adjust idle to 800 + or - 50.

Raise engine speed to 2000-3000 rpm and hold for 15 seconds.
7.
Slowly release throttle and check to see if engine idle is at 850 + or - 50 with blower motor on low or 800 + or - 50 with blower on high. If
not, repeat Steps 6 and 7.
