Check continuity between control relay terminals, Fig. 15, with relay coil energized and not energized as shown, Fig. 16. To energize coils, L1
and L2, apply battery voltage across terminals 6 and 7.

Check continuity between control relay terminals, Fig. 15, with relay coil energized and not energized as shown, Fig. 17. To energize coil, L3,
apply battery voltage across terminals 8 and 6.

3.

If test results are not satisfactory, replace control relay.
