Carefully strike the window frame in the area shown using a rubber mallet to achieve the desired gap of 9/64 in. (3.5 mm) to 13/64 in. (5 mm) (See
Fig. 2).

Road test the vehicle at highway speeds to determine if the wind noise has been eliminated. If the noise has been eliminated, the procedure is
complete. If the noise has not been eliminated, replace the weatherstrip.

23A-95 for the weatherstrip replacement procedure.
