b. Coat oil pump drive and driven gears with oil then install, aligning timing marks.
c. Install oil seals using seal installation tool Nos. C-3095-A or equivalent.
d. Install front oil seal installer tool No. MD998285 on crankshaft and apply oil to tool.

e. Install front case assembly through new front case gasket and temporarily tighten flange bolts. Do not tighten filter bracket bolts.
f.
Mount oil filter bracket and gasket on front case and install bolts.
g. Tighten front case and oil filter bracket bolts to specifications.
h. Secure oil pump driven gear onto the left silent shaft.
i.
Install new O-ring and cap plug using socket tool No. MD998162 or equivalent.

Apply a .16 inch bead of sealant to the oil pan flange as shown.
