Modify the driver's side floor duct by using a heat gun on the hollow portion of the duct and pushing the hollow portion out with a suitable
instrument. (See Figure 4)
15.
Replace the passenger's side floor duct with the new part.
16.
Install the modified distribution duct and the modified, or replacement driver's side floor duct to the heater assembly.
17.
Check for proper heater/defroster operation.
