SYMPTOM/CONDITION
Subject models may exhibit an acceleration surge and steady state surge during engine warm-up. This surge will be less noticeable, but may be still
present when the vehicle reaches normal operating temperature. This condition will be more pronounced in cold ambients.

REPAIR PROCEDURES
Manual Transmission
1.
Reset basic timing from 5~ to 8~ BTDC.
2.
Remove carburetor air cleaner assembly. Cover carburetor secondary venturi to prevent air bleed jet from falling into engine.
