DIPLOMAT, 1982 NEW YORKER, GRAN FURY & FIFTH AVENUE
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove lower panel assembly.
3.
Remove left lower reinforcement by removing two screws located at left end.
4.
Remove gear shift indicator.
5.
Remove steering column toe plate mounting bolts and upper steering column mounting nuts, then lower the steering column.
6.
Disconnect speedometer cable.
7.
Remove two mounting screws and detach fuse block from mid-reinforcement.
8.
Remove one screw attaching radio to mid-reinforcement.
9.
Remove four upper and four lower cluster mounting screws.
10.
Pull cluster out from instrument panel and disconnect wire connectors, control cables and vacuum harness, then remove cluster assembly.
11.
Reverse procedure to install.
