Horn Switch: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect ground cable at battery.
2. On steering wheels with center horn button, remove button by pulling outward. On steering wheels with pressure sensitive switch pad, remove
mounting screws from underside of wheel, then disconnect horn wire when removing pad.
3. On models with center horn button, disconnect horn switch wire and remove switch and ring.
4. On all models, remove steering wheel nut and use a suitable puller to remove steering wheel. Do not bump or hammer on steering shaft to
remove wheel as damage to shaft may result.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
