10. With Propane flowing, adjust idle speed to specified enriched RPM, Fig. 41, by turning idle speed screw on solenoid.
11. Repeat steps 9 and 10, then turn main propane valve off. Allow engine speed to stabilize.
12. Adjust idle mixture screws in small increments to obtain specified curb idle speed. Allow time between adjustments for engine to stabilize.
NOTE: On 2 and 4 barrel carburetors, adjust idle mixture screws equally.
13. Open main propane valve fully, then "fine tune" propane metering valve to obtain maximum idle RPM.
14. If engine speed is more than 25 RPM different than specified enriched RPM, repeat steps 9-13.
15. Turn both propane valves off, remove enrichment tool and reconnect related vacuum hoses.
16. Remove jumper wire from wiring harness lead and vacuum source from SCC. Reconnect wiring harness connector to oxygen sensor and reconnect
vacuum hose to SCC.
17. If equipped with A/C, disconnect wiring harness connector to compressor clutch and place A/C control in on position to energize solenoid.
18. On models without A/C, connect battery voltage to terminal on solenoid with a jumper wire to energize solenoid.
19. Adjust solenoid idle speed to specifications on Holley carburetors:
a. Remove curb idle speed adjusting screw and spring from top of solenoid.
b. Insert b's inch allen wrench into solenoid and adjust as needed.
c. Reinstall curb idle speed screw and spring.
20. Adjust solenoid idle speed to specifications on Carter carburetors by turning solenoid adjusting screw on carburetor lever.
21. If equipped with SCC and oxygen sensor, repeat steps 6 and 7 and allow 2 1/2 minutes for harness grounding to take effect.
22. Recheck curb idle speed and adjust to specifications by turning idle speed screw on solenoid.
23. Stop engine. Remove jumper wires from carburetor switch and oxygen sensor lead. Reconnect wiring harness connector to oxygen sensor and
reconnect vacuum hoses to proper fittings. Install PCV valve in valve cover and reinstall manifold heat shield, if removed.
