SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Quad seat floor latch does not tighten quad seats against carpet completely, or rattle.

DIAGNOSIS:

Fully latch quad seat to the floor by forcing the latch handle as far rearward as possible. Check the quad seats for play at the floor attachments by trying
to move the seats fore and aft and side to side. If the seat(s) exhibit play at the floor, perform the Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves replacing the quad seat floor latch(es) with revised latch(es).

1.

Fold the back of the quad seat forward, then remove the quad seat from the vehicle and place it on a clean work surface with the bottom (base) of
the seat facing upward.

2.

Remove the three nut and bolt assemblies that attach the floor latch to the base of the quad seat. Clean any thread sealant from the bolts to prepare
them for reuse.
