actuator lever pocket formed in the adapter casting (Figure 5).
9.
Install the end of the parking brake cable to the parking brake actuator lever.
10.
Install the rotors onto the hub/bearing assembly.
11.
Carefully lower the caliper and brake shoes over the rotors and onto the adapter by using the following procedure:
A.
Place the front of the caliper and the outboard brake shoe anti-rattle clip under the front abutment on the adapter.
B.
Rotate the rear of the caliper down against the adapter (Figure 2).
NOTE:
USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN INSTALLING GUIDE PIN BOLTS TO PREVENT CROSS-THREADING.
12.
Install and torque the caliper guide pin bolts to 22 Nm (192 in. lbs.).
13.
Repeat steps 3 through 12 to install the isolator on the other side parking brake actuator lever.
14.
Install the wheel/tire assemblies. Tighten the lug nuts using a cris-cross pattern to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.). Then repeat the tightening sequence to bring
the torque up to 129 Nm (95 ft. lbs.).
15.
Lower the vehicle.
16.
Fully apply and release the park brake pedal one time. This will seat and correctly adjust the park brake cables.
