Blower Motor Relay: Description and Operation
Rear Blower Relay
Circuit Operation
The rear blower relay in the junction block provides battery voltage to the rear blower motor when the ignition switch is in the RUN position. In the
RUN position, the ignition switch supplies battery voltage to the coil side of the relay on circuit A22. Circuit Z1 provides a constant ground for the
coil side of the relay. Circuit Z1 terminates in the junction block.
When voltage is supplied to the coil side of the relay on circuit A22, the relay energizes and connects circuit A3 from fuse 2 in the Power Distribution
Center (PDC) to circuit C40. Circuit C40 supplies voltage to the rear blower motor.
